On Saturday, Tomas Satoransky led all scorers with 25 points as he led the Wizards to a 101-90 win over the Chicago Bulls. He shot 10-of-12 from the field and made five three pointers for the night. You can watch his video highlights above from Down to Buck’s YouTube channel.
Like last week’s 19 point performance, Satoransky had a shot chart that was about as analytics friendly as you like: 11 of his 12 shots were attempted from behind the three point line or at the basket.

Satoransky also made five three point shots, also a career high. In short, Satoransky is on fire!
Unfortunately, Satoransky’s night was cut short with 2:35 left in the game when Bobby Portis attempted to stop an apparent dunk attempt. In the attempt Portis fouled Satoransky hard which knocked him to the floor where he was bleeding on the right side of his head. Portis was ejected with a Flagrant-2 foul.
Fortunately, Satoransky walked out of the game under his own power, but it remains to be seen as to whether he may miss time. That would be a shame, because Satoransky is averaging 13.8 points and 5 assists this February while shooting 64.3 percent from the field and making 83.3 percent of his threes (10-of-12 attempts).
Hopefully, Sato isn’t seriously hurt, though he may have to go through the NBA’s concussion protocol since his head was bleeding. If Satoransky has a significant injury, that would be a shame considering how well he’s been playing in February.
