The Wizards were blown out 108-91 by the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. That said, the story of the night was a battle between two of the NBA's best point guards as John Wall and Chris Paul put their scoring and passing skills in full display. You can watch this "Battle of the Point Gods" in the video embedded above (via Free Dawkins' YouTube channel).
As scorers, both Wall and Paul combined for 23 points each. As for the assist battle, Wall had 13 while Paul only had seven.
I'm sure Paul is happy that he got a big win and made a couple dunks:
This dunk by Chris Paul was overrated. https://t.co/AlkpUJe6QI

If Kelly Oubre didn't foul Chris Paul, this would've been a clean dunk https://t.co/J5grfCuEVr

But despite the loss, Wall once again showed why he is the best point guard in the Eastern Conference. After all, he likes helping Jarell Eddie out
Eddie made a three to keep this game somewhat within reach https://t.co/CVgwe4N2e1

and is improving his perimeter game which looks better with each passing week.
John Wall is having a great game despite the deficit. https://t.co/rfa25hWAej

Who knows? Maybe next year, Wall could be doing things like some other guy who scored 17 points in the last three minutes of a half and ruins the game of basketball.
Forget about Wall vs Irving. Curry is the best PG in the NBA. I think every Wizards fan agrees with that. https://t.co/jvyQJfINuX

Sorry about the quote in the last tweet. But Stephen Curry is just on another level right now ... until Wall catches and surpasses him of course!
