Bradley Beal scored 14 points in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game for Team LeBron in a 148-145 win over Team Stephen. Most of the game was an exhibition, with Team Stephen leading by as many as 15 points at various points, but Team LeBron came back in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. LeBron led all scorers with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists and won the All-Star Game MVP award.

Beal had his moments, but was scoreless and didn’t do much in the fourth quarter. That was a bummer because he was heating up toward the end of the third quarter. Beal’s first highlight of the night was a dunk from a LeBron pass midway through the first quarter:

Bradley Beal was eliminated in the first round of the 2018 NBA Three Point Contest on Saturday.

Beal started on the wrong foot as he made only one of his first ten shots. He made up some ground as he made four of the five shots in his money ball rack, so Beal ended up with 15 points in the first round of the contest. You can watch his performance in the video above.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker won, while Warriors guard Klay Thompson was the runner up. Wu was on EXO, a Korean boy band that also has members of Chinese descent. Here is one of EXO’s biggest earlier hits, “Overdose” which is in Korean:

If you don’t understand anything EXO sang, no worries. Wu went solo from EXO in 2014. And here’s an English song of his, “Deserve” with Travis Scott.

TV: TNT

The NBA’s rookies and sophomores play in a Team USA vs. World format in a game that features many of the league’s future stars.

No Wizards are on this team, so I look forward to seeing how the 76ers trio of Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Ben Simmons fit in with Bulls rookie Lauri Markkanen on Team World. They’ll face off against a Team USA that will be without Lonzo Ball, but the team will still have a “hometown flavor” with Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.

John Wall and Bradley Beal just can’t get away from each other.

Even though this year’s All-Star format is moving from the traditional East vs. West battle to a new format in which captains select the teams, Wall and Beal will still be together. LeBron James selected both of Washington’s All-Stars in the draft, which was held on Thursday afternoon.

Wall and Beal will play alongside James, Kevin Durant, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Russell Westbrook, Kristaps Porzingis, LaMarcus Aldridge, Victor Oladipo, and Kevin Love.

Seeing Wall and Beal play alongside LeBron will be weird, but it’s almost worth it for the fever dream of seeing them get to play with Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins. So savor it Wizards fans, this is the probably the closest we’ll ever get to experiencing #KD2DC and #DMC2DC in real life.

Even in a down year, John Wall is just too good to keep out of the All-Star Game. He will be going to his fifth-straight All-Star Game, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN and Shams Charania of Yahoo.

He joins Kyle Lowry, Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Love, Victor Oladipo, Al Horford and his teammate Bradley Beal as reserves from the Eastern Conference who will be included in the pool of players LeBron James and Stephen Curry pick teams from for this year’s game.

Wall and Beal’s inclusion marks the first time since 2008 that the Wizards have sent two players to the All-Star Game, when Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison represented the team.

As a Wizards fan, if you were hoping an All-Star snub might be the wake-up call the team needed to get back on track, this news might be a bit of a disappointment. Still, it says a lot about Wall and Beal’s overall talent that both were able to get selected to the game in the midst of an underwhelming season for the team as a whole.

Perhaps it can serve as a reminder that the team is simply too talented to be so low in the standings. The team is currently fifth in the East, in spite of several disappointing losses this season, including a pair of blowout losses over the past week to Charlotte and Dallas.

Bradley Beal is headed to the NBA All-Star Game for the first time in his NBA career and the Three Point Contest for the second time, according to Candace Buckner of the Washington Post.

He earned his All-Star selection by posting career-best numbers for points, rebounds, and assists per game and thanks to scoring a career-high 51 points earlier in the season against the Blazers in Portland.

He joins Victor Oladipo, Kyle Lowry, Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, Kevin Love, and his teammate John Wall as the reserve selections for the Eastern Conference.

Oddly enough, Beal was selected to the Three Point Contest even though he’s shooting career-lows from beyond the arc. He’s shooting just 36.8 percent from deep after averaging at least 38 percent in each of his first five seasons. Still, the NBA likes to get known commodities for these contests, especially if they’re already in town to play in the All-Star Game, so it makes sense.
