The Washington Mystics will play the New York Liberty Friday night in Brooklyn at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be available on Twitter and YES Network. The Mystics are currently ranked 8th with a 12-18 record and if they win, they’ll lock in their playoff spot.

There’s no question that it has been a rough season for the Mystics. Making the playoffs would be incredible given all the injuries and setbacks they’ve faced. Elena Delle Donne will not play or travel with the team to New York.

There is good news. Washington is coming off two wins, which should give them momentum as they look to win their last two regular season games. Additionally, Myisha Hines-Allen and Ariel Atkins will be back in rotation.

The Liberty spoiled Tina Charles’ homecoming back in July despite her going off with a team-high 31 points and 16 rebounds. Charles will likely bring that same energy but hopefully it will result in a win this time around. The Mystics last beat the Liberty in May.
