In three games, Charles averaged 20.3 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, leading the Mystics to a 2-1 record. Her biggest performance in the week was a 31 point, 10 rebound, 5 assist showing against the Chicago Sky last Sunday.

Currently, Charles is averaging a career-high 24.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. She is on track to finish the season as the WNBA’s leading scorer since she currently has 607 points. Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner is second with 583 points.

Above all else, Charles and the Mystics have more in mind besides a scoring title. Washington is currently 8th place in the WNBA standings with a 12-18 record. They are one game ahead of the Los Angeles Sparks and New York Liberty with two games left to go and now control their playoff destiny.
