The Washington Mystics (9-15) will have another chance to beat the Dallas Wings (11-14) tonight at home. The game will be available on Facebook, NBC Sports Washington and BSSW+.
The Mystics will be without Tina Charles as she recovers from a left gluteal strain and it is unclear if Elena Delle Donne will suit up. She played just 12 minutes in Thursday’s loss to Dallas. She was pulled from that game for precautionary reasons.
In the two matchups Washington has had with Dallas Arike Ogunbowale has scored 30 and 26 points. She always finds a way to get her shot off but the Mystics need to apply even more pressure if they want to win.
Offensively, the Mystics will rely even more on Myisha Hines-Allen and Ariel Atkins to lead. Theresa Plaisance is coming off a 13 point performance, shooting 5-6 from the field and 3-4 from beyond the arc.
Washington has dropped to #10 in league standings with a 9-15 record. Every game matters now!
