The Washington Mystics were supposed to begin the 2020 WNBA season at home yesterday against the Los Angeles Sparks. However, that is on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The team released a video on social media yesterday featuring fans, color analyst Christy Winters-Scott and general manager and head coach Mike Thibault. You can watch the tribute below.

In the meantime, the Mystics want you to relive championship glory. The team released a documentary yesterday on their Facebook page called “Run It Back” which goes back to the time when Washington lost the 2018 Finals to the Seattle Storm through the time when they won it all last year. Part one of the five-part series can be seen by clicking here.
It certainly feels good to watch the process on how the Mystics turned their fortunes around from being a laughing stock to the defending champions, especially over an eight-year period. But of course, there’s nothing like defending a title and hopefully, winning it all once again.
