The chances of the WNBA having a 2020 season are not looking good already.
The postponement of training camp and the tip of the 2020 WNBA regular season, previously scheduled for May 15, was announced by the league Friday due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“While the league continues to use this time to conduct scenario-planning regarding new start dates and innovative formats, our guiding principle will continue to be the health and safety of the players, fans and employees”, Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in the statement.
