The WNBA announced on Thursday that it will be holding a modified, virtual draft on previously scheduled April 17, due to the coronavirus pandemic. There will be no players, guests, or media on site but top prospects will be featured remotely.
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert is expected to announce the draft picks live on ESPN.
The Washington Mystics, who won the 2019 WNBA Finals, currently have the 12th, 24th, and 36th picks.
The WNBA Draft 2020 presented by @StateFarm will be held as previously scheduled on April 17 in a modified, virtual draft format.

According to the WNBA’s official release, the league will honor Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, Alyssa Altobelli, and Payton Chester - who died in a helicopter crash, along with five other victims, on Jan. 26 in Calabasas, California.
The Draft will be televised on ESPN and on the ESPN App at 7 p.m. ET
