On Tuesday, the Washington Mystics announced that they re-signed Tianna Hawkins through the 2020 WNBA season.

Hawkins averages a career-high 9.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season. She is also shooting a career-high 50.2 percent from the field and has been a major player in the Mystics’ frontcourt success.

The Mystics’ frontcourt is anchored by Elena Delle Donne and Emma Meesseman, but Hawkins has become a very strong player in her own right. I’m really happy to see that she is back in D.C.
