Pregame notes
Can Emma Meesseman continue to carry the Mystics? Meesseman has proven to be a problem for the Aces in the WNBA Playoffs. In Game 1 she dominated with a team-high 27 points and 10 rebounds. She didn’t disappoint in Game 2, scoring 30 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
Meesseman showed us glimpses of just how great she is during the season but her play in the semifinals is just another level.
The Aces haven’t shown that they have an answer to stop her because they’ve been so focused on containing Delle Donne.

Can Liz Cambage be slowed down just enough one more time? LaToya Sanders guarding Liz Cambage all game is not easy work and she did it to the best of her ability in Game 2. However, once Cambage, who finished with 23 points, has the ball close to the basket it’s more likely than not going to be an automatic 2 points because she towers over everyone on the Mystics squad.
It’s hard to defend someone as long as Cambage so the Mystics need to worry about containing her points, helping each other, and rebounding.
.@ecambage backs her way down for the finish, AND-1!
