On Thursday, the WNBA announced that Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne won the 2019 Most Valuable Player award. This is the second time Delle Donne won the award since 2015 when she played for the Chicago Sky. Here’s Delle Donne receiving the news:

Delle Donne averaged 19.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in the 2019 regular season. She also shot a career-high 51.5 percent from the field, 43 percent from the three point line and made 97.4 percent of her free throws. This season was just nothing short of spectacular for her. She’ll be given the MVP award before Game 2 of the semifinals on Thursday night.

Congratulations to EDD for being the WNBA MVP!
