The Washington Mystics crushed the Indiana Fever on Thursday night, 91-78. Elena Delle Donne had a game-high 22 points along with eight rebounds and two assists. She even pulled off this spin move and the score!

Emma Meesseman (19) and Aerial Powers (14) off the bench combined for 33 points. Powers attacked the paint heavily converting two And-Ones getting the crowd pumped.

The second quarter was a scary one as the defense of the Mystics dwindled allowing Indiana to come back from a double digit deficit and cut the lead down to just two points at halftime.

Washington managed to fix all that in the second half finding their rhythm through different lineups especially with the “bigs” such as Delle Donne and Meesseman together.

Natasha Cloud was in on the mix with 13 points of her own, nine of which came from behind the three-point arc. She adding five assists and two steals to her stat line for the night.

Although Kristi Toliver was scoreless tonight, she dished out 11 assists and three steals contributing heavily on both sides of the ball.

As for the Indiana Fever, Kelsey Mitchell had 18 points and six assists followed by Candice Dupree with 16 points and four assists.

The Mystics will continue their three-game home stand this Sunday, Aug. 11 when they host the Minnesota Lynx. Tipoff is at 3 p.m. ET.
