The Mystics lost to the Sparks on Sunday. The loss ends a five-game win streak that started with a four consecutive wins on the road.
Elena Delle Donne was hurt just one minute into the game with a facial injury and didn’t return. The Mystics looked out of it as the Sparks led 74-57 after the third quarter. Washington was able to claw the deficit back to single digits but L.A. had an answer every time.
Chelsea Gray had the league’s eighth triple double ever with 13 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
CHELSEA GRAY @cgray209 has just recorded the 8th regular season triple-double in @WNBA history.

Besides Gray’s performance, the Sparks made 16-of-31 threes to put this game in their favor. Nneka Ogwumike and Riquna Williams made five threes each while the Mystics made just six from long range as a whole.
For the Mystics, Aerial Powers led with 24 points off the bench. Kristi Toliver added 18 points as well.
This is certainly a good time to get Emma Meesseman back in to the game, especially if Delle Donne is thrown off her game for a period of time.
