Kristi Toliver added 25, Aerial Powers added 13 and Natasha Cloud scored 12 more points for Washington.
Though the Mystics were usually in control of the game, Phoenix relied heavily on Leilani Mitchell who scored 28 and made things tough from the perimeter. DeWanna Bonner scores 25 more.

Brittney Griner scored 30 points and scored whenever she wanted to on LaToya Sanders. Even though Emma Meesseman defended Griner most of the time, Griner still got her shots to fall. It wasn’t a fun night for Washington’s posts.
The Mystics are now about to get on a three-game west coast road trip, starting with the Seattle Storm this Friday, Aug. 2 at 10 p.m. ET.
