Elena Delle Donne named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for third time

Delle Donne averaged 28 points and 11.5 rebounds per game for games played from July 15 to 21.

Elena Delle Donne is truly hitting her stride. On Monday, the WNBA announced that Elena Delle Donne was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from July 15 to 21. Washington went 2-0 last week.

Delle Donne averaged 28 points and 11.5 rebounds in the Mystics’ wins last week against the Indiana Fever on July 19 and Atlanta Dream on July 21.

As an All-Star Game captain and a potential MVP candidate, it’s great seeing Delle Donne stepping up when Washington needs her most.
