WNBA All-Star voting has taken a new turn this season over past years. Now, you can’t vote on Twitter with #WNBAVOTE. Your only option is to google up a player or team and then click on a box.
And that’s probably for the best.
According to the WNBA’s list of early returns, Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne leads all players with about 20,300 votes. That is well above Aces forward A’ja Wilson who only has about 15,400 votes.
Here are your early 2019 #WNBA all-star leaders. Don't see your favorite player? Head to @google or the WNBA site/app and vote vote vote daily until July 9th. pic.twitter.com/kX8vQZO6f5

Though the Mystics are leading the WNBA standings, they are still not one of the most popular teams in the league. Kristi Toliver is the only other Mystics player in the Top-20 with about 6,900 votes. And she is 19th.
Hopefully, we’ll see more players get toward the Top-20 — and really, the Top-10 — soon!
WNBA All-Star voting ends on July 9.
