Christmas came a few days early for the residents of the Mary Campbell Center in Wilmington, Delaware. The center serves those who have physical and intellectual disabilities, including residential care and group programs.
Washington Mystics forward and Delaware native Elena Delle Donne showed up with her family and gifted the residents with her new Nike Air Zoom UNVRS shoes on Monday. You can watch the video below or by clicking here.
Yesterday my family and I delivered my shoes to Liz’s friends at the Mary Campbell Center. To be able to have a shoe that works for all is a dream come true! ❤️❤️

Her sister Lizzie, who was born with cerebral palsy and autism, was the inspiration for the self-lacing and inclusive shoe. It features the FlyEase system which allows for easy entry and exit of the foot.
My sister, Lizzie, is the inspiration for the Air ZoomUNVRS. This shoe is made for all and I’ve accomplished so much in them this season.Available now: https://t.co/MlW5TU7lQa@nikebasketball #AirZoomUNVRS #Flyease #Nike pic.twitter.com/PbekRMsSK1
