Some bad news to share in Game 2 of the 2019 WNBA Finals. Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne was injured in the first quarter of the game where she was quickly replaced by Emma Meesseman.
Delle Donne has left the floor with an apparent injury early in the first quarter. No updates as of yet.

According to Ava Wallace of The Washington Post, Delle Donne suffered back spasms and is questionable to return.

The Mystics finished the first quarter with a 29-17 deficit. If there’s a time for Meesseman to get into “Belgian Cat” or “Playoff Emma” mode, it’s now!
