The Philadelphia 76ers hired Lindsey Harding as a full-time scout according to an article by Ramona Shelburne of ESPN. Harding was the number one pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft and played nine WNBA seasons including with the Mystics in 2009-10. She also played for the Lynx, Dream, Sparks, Liberty, and Mercury in her career.
For the Mystics, Harding averaged 13.1 points and 4.5 assists a game as Washington had its best two year regular season stretch in franchise history (38 combined wins) until this season. Harding also earned an All-Star Game appearance in 2010 when it was billed as an All-Stars vs. the USA Basketball women’s national team exhibition.
Harding is one of the best guards to wear a Mystics uniform in franchise history. Congratulations to her on getting the position!
