Elena Delle Donne wins fourth Player of the Week award

On Monday, the WNBA announced that Elena Delle Donne won her fourth Eastern Conference Player of the Week Award for the 2018 season for games played between August 6 and 12.

Delle Donne scored an average of 27.7 points last week while the Mystics were en route to a six game winning streak, including a forfeit win over the Las Vegas Aces in August 3. The Mystics also have their first 20 win season since the 2010 season when they finished first in the Eastern Conference standings. Delle Donne has won more Player of the Week Awards than anyone else in the WNBA.
