The Mystics started their post All-Star Break schedule with a 86-71 win over the Atlanta Dream. Elena Delle Donne scored 28 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished four assists in the win while Natasha Cloud added 11 more in her return after missing time due to a concussion.

For the Dream, Tiffany Hayes led with 18 points but Angel McCoughtry had an off night shooting 4 of 14 from the field for 12 points.

The Dream started the game with a 20-17 lead but Washington had a 33 to 23 run and a 16 to 8 fourth quarter to end any chance of an Atlanta comeback.

The Mystics are now 15-11 which helps them get closer to a playoff berth, but they lost the tiebreaker with the Dream, who were on an eight game win streak heading into tonight.

Washigton’s next game is on Friday when they host the Las Vegas Aces who are ninth place and in great position to steal a berth from a team that slumps in the homestretch of the 2018 season.
