Welcome Back EDD!

After sitting out the last 4 games, Delle Donne started the game. She only put up 8 points but having her suit up gave Mystics a confidence boost going into the game.

Kristi Toliver set the tone early on

When Kristi Toliver stepped on the floor today, she let her team know today was not the day for a slow start. The veteran made key shots early on to set the tone. This is the Toliver we know and enjoy watching.

The Mystics could count on Natasha Cloud all game

Natasha Cloud, despite still not having passed her kidney stone issues, was a force today. Her 17 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds were crucial in keeping the Mystics in this game. She exhibited tremendous hustle on both sides of the court and without hesitation dive for loose balls.

The Lynx’s Big 3 are still a problem

Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles and Seimone Augustus wreaked havoc the entire game. The trio combined for 56 points and there was hardly anything Washington could do to stop them.

Next game

The Mystics will play the Connecticut Sun on the road next Wednesday, June 13 at 7 p.m. EST.
