Storylines to follow

Can Washington end Connecticut’s undefeated run? The Mystics are short handed and just came off a disappointing loss to the Aces on Friday. Beating a Sun team at 100 percent health will be difficult to say the least considering that two of their top three active players, namely Elena Delle Donne and Tayler Hill are sick or rehabbing.

How does Kristi Toliver bounce back from a whimper on Friday? We saw the best of Toliver in most of the Mystics’ games in 2018. But on Friday, she failed to make a single field goal. To be honest, she was shut down by the Vegas defense. Toliver is playing on track to be an All-Star this season, but the Mystics can’t afford to see her fail to make at least one regular shot in a game against one of the WNBA’s top Eastern Conference teams.
