Mystics reveal their Nike “Statement” uniforms

New, comment

The Mystics’ second uniforms are blue, and look less cluttered than their 2017 counterparts.

The Mystics revealed their Nike “Statement” uniforms on Thursday. They are blue

Like the red “Icon” uniforms that were released a couple weeks ago, the “Statement” uniforms aren’t too different looking from their blue counterparts in 2017. Here is a picture of Tierra Ruffin-Pratt and Kristi Toliver donning the blue jerseys at a game last year.

The uniforms retain much of their 2017 look minus the Adidas three-stripes on the sides, making their new look a lot cleaner. The number fonts have also changed a bit.

Elena Delle Donne was also wearing the Mystics’ warmups at a photoshoot earlier this week.

The Mystics’ warmups look quite similar to the Wizards’ warmups like you can see below with a red jacket and dark colored pants, except that there is no hood on the jacket.

The uniform and warmup designs look sharp. The WNBA has historically been notorious for not selling much of its apparel. But with these new designs, the league’s teams definitely should for their fans.
