The 2017-18 EuroLeague Women Final Four was last weekend in Sopron, Hungary. Russian powerhouse UMMC Ekaterinburg won their fourth title on Sunday and have three Mystics players on the roster: Emma Meesseman, Kristi Toliver, and LaToya Sanders.
It gets even better. Meesseman won the MVP award for the Final Four. Individual awards are the most un-Meessemanesque thing ever.
But really, Meesseman deserved to win the MVP after two 19 point performances over the weekend. You can also see her highlights in the video above.
The WNBA congratulated her,
Congrats, @EmmaMeesseman! https://t.co/IijW19O47J

and the Mystics gave her a shoutout too along with Toliver and Sanders.

It will be a little sad that Meesseman won’t be in D.C. this summer. But we are happy to see her perform at such a high level in EuroLeague Women and can’t wait to see her back — even if it’s next year.
