Elena Delle Donne led the Mystics to the second round of the WNBA Playoffs in a physical game. She got hit in the chin during the fourth quarter that required her to receive stitches and a large bandage.
After the game, she told Ava Wallace of The Washington Post that she didn’t want to get a scar on her chin because she is getting married next month.

I hope she doesn’t get a scar either. But if nothing else, that scar is a battle wound and a symbol to rally around for the rest of the playoffs and any matches against the Wings next season.
In other words, opposing WNBA teams better watch out! EDD is ready to go on a rampage!
