Mystics make their first WNBA semifinals appearance since 2002

The Mystics started slow but ultimately blew out the New York Liberty, 82-68. Kristi Toliver scored 32 points and made nine threes in the win.

With the win, this is the first time Washington made the semifinals since 2002. It is also the first time Monumental Sports has seen one of their teams go past the second round.

The Mystics will play the first seeded Lynx in the semifinals.
