Mystics vs. Fever preview: Washington goes for a sweep over Indiana

The Mystics (16-12) play the Indiana Fever (9-20) on Sunday afternoon. Here’s the run down:

When and Where: Sunday August 20, 2017 at 5 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

TV/Streaming: In the D.C. area (150 mile radius) you need Monumental Sports Network which costs money unless you already have season tickets for any of their teams (Wizards/Mystics/Capitals/Valor/Brigade). Otherwise you can watch this on NBA TV.

Injury report: Elena Delle Donne and Tayler Hill are out for the Mystics. Shenise Johnson and Tiffany Mitchell are out for the Fever.

What to look for

Dominate early - The Mystics have blown out Indiana every game in this series. After two straight losses against teams that will (or should make the playoffs), sometimes an old fashioned beatdown of a lower ranking team can improve morale somewhat.

Can SWK keep her hot streak going? The rookie scored in double figures for each of the Mystics’ last three games. I’d like to see this continue.

Will Natasha Cloud be okay? The reserve guard left early on Friday due to a hip injury. Hopefully she’s around to get some reps.
