On Thursday, the WNBA revised its national television game schedule to include three Mystics games on ESPN or ESPN2:
- June 6, Mystics at Wings, 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2
- June 23, Mystics at Lynx, 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2
- August 16, Mystics vs. Sparks, 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2
Previously, the Mystics were shut out of national television in part because of a lack of superstar talent. However, with Elena Delle Donne now in Monumental Red, the game has changed.
The Mystics now have more national appearances than any other team except for the Sparks and Lynx (seven appearances each) who made the Finals last year. Washington is also tied with the New York Liberty with three nationally televised games.
