Main storylines

  • Washington's backcourt rotation is iffy - Ivory Latta is injured, but there will be plenty of opportunities for Tayler Hill and Natasha Cloud to step up in a tune-up game -- and perhaps secure starting roles at the start of the regular season. Meanwhile, Kahleah Copper and Lia Galdeira will do what they can to show that they deserve bigger roles, or perhaps a spot on the team altogether.
  • Many Mystics are still out - Bria Hartley has still not reported to camp after finishing the season in Turkey. Emma Meesseman is in Belgium resting after UMMC Ekaterinburg won a couple titles.
  • Expect The Fever to win this one - The win or loss shouldn't matter tomorrow mainly because Washington still doesn't have most of their roster. However, let's keep a close eye on the backcourt rotations, because that's an area where they must improve on for 2016 with Latta possibly missing the beginning of the season.
