Pregame Notes

The Washington Wizards and the Detroit Pistons play each other for the second time this season on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Washington won the first meeting in Detroit, 126-107, behind Kyle Kuzma’s 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Detroit is on a seven-game losing streak while Washington just won over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday January 13, 127-99.

In recent news, both teams just agreed on a trade that sent Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala of the Wizards to the Pistons for Marvin Bagley III, Isaiah Livers and two second-round picks. It’ll be an interesting game if all players take the court in their new threads. Being as though both the Wizards and Pistons aren’t at all good this season, this is one of those let’s see what happens type of decisions to prepare for the offseason.
