The Golden State Warriors have brought on Jason Staudt as a new scout for their team. Previously a pro scout for the Washington Wizards, Staudt may have played a role in the recent trade involving Jordan Poole. Prior to his work in Washington, he served as an advance scout for the Houston Rockets and was an assistant coach for both the Phoenix Suns and the Portland Trail Blazers. Although Staudt's name may not be widely known among fans, some might recognize him from his involvement in this past summer's The Basketball Tournament. Staudt acted as the head coach for the Air Raiders, a team of Texas Tech alumni. The Air Raiders won their first-round game against Purple Hearts with a score of 83-64, but were defeated by The Enchantment in the second round, losing 84-67.
