Can't claim this as my own but thought this was a decent trade proposal that got us good value for Monte. We get back the last year of Pritchard's $4M contract but more importantly SAs second round pick which will likely be in the 30s. We also save another $5.8M and and really don't get much worse. I don't know whether Houston is down with the trade but can see the reasoning for the Cs. Let me know what you think.
