Pregame Notes

The Washington Wizards are back in action after finishing their long west coast road trip last week. They finished that road trip 1-3, which is better than their overall record of just 5-23 this season. (Yes, it’s really that bad).

Though the Wizards are one of the worst teams in the NBA, they have been playing competitively during a game, only to lose late in previous contests. So perhaps coming back home will help them as they are in D.C. this next week for a four-game homestand.

The Magic entered this game, losing four of their last five games, though they did beat the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 23. Do you think Washington can get on some type of winning run this week to finish 2023? Let us know in the comments below.
