The Washington Wizards finally break their six-game losing streak on the road after beating the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night, 118-117, despite 41 points from Anfernee Simons. Kyle Kuzma scored 32 points and Tyus Jones had 24. Now for a back-to-back game.
Washington does not get a breather as they headed down to Cali to play the Golden State Warriors tonight to end their road trip on the year (last four games of the year are at home). The Warriors aren’t exactly a hot team but still draw in some attention because of Stephen Curry who continues to shoot lights out almost every night. They tend to draw even more attention courtesy of Draymond Green, who was suspended indefinitely by the league due to his on-court physical antics. Golden State is still not a team to take lightly.
The Warriors have always been a team consisting of shooters. Will Washington try to keep up or find their own rhythm and go along with that?
