The Washington Wizards have released an image of the three bobbleheads they will have this year to represent the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia — NOT the Department of Motor Vehicles for this context, non-locals).
Ben’s Chili Bowl founder Virginia Ali is the first bobblehead where she represents D.C. Ben’s Chili Bowl is located in the U Street, NW corridor, close to the campus of Howard University. It’s also a hot nightlife spot for those of you not from the area. To get this bobblehead, come to the Wizards’ game on Jan. 15 against the Detroit Pistons.
Ali was presented with her bobblehead earlier this month by guard Jordan Poole. The image is the one above.
Tennis star Frances Tiafoe has a bobblehead to represent Maryland. That bobblehead features him wearing a Wizards jersey. You can get it on Feb. 10 when the Philadelphia 76ers come to town.
Finally, Pusha T of The Clipse will represent Virginia. His bobblehead features him wearing a Wizards City Edition hoodie, or the one in boundary stone colors. You can get this bobblehead on Mar. 17 when the Boston Celtics are at Capital One Arena.
Check out all of the bobbleheads in the X post below. All three dolls are on top of a platform with a Welcome to D.C., Maryland or Virginia sign.
