Pregame Notes

The Washington Wizards are overall a bad team but even worse on the road at 2-14. They’re currently on a six-game losing streak on the road and it looks to continue facing the Portland Trail Blazers. It’s just going to be a long season for the Wizards but hopefully some positivity can come from all this demise.

This Blazers team hasn’t been the same since they traded Damian Lillard to the Bucks in a three-team trade that also included the Phoenix Suns. For Portland that brought over DeAndre Ayton and eventually Robert Williams III who was traded in a package that sent Jrue Holiday to the Boston Celtics. However, Williams has been dealing with a knee injury for some time having to have surgeries. He’s currently out for the season after suffering a patellar dislocation which needed surgery as well.

The Wizards are still without Delon Wright, Landry Shamet and Johnny Davis. Everyone else is healthy and good to go for the late night matchup (for the east coast that is).
