Pregame Notes

Washington Wizards are in Philadelphia to take on the 76ers as they are currently winless in the month of December so far. The Wizards played Philly recently on Wednesday December 6 but lost 131-126 after Joel Embiid scored 50 points along with 13 rebounds and seven assists.

The Wizards have some injuries on the report who are out. A key injury is Daniel Gafford who is considered day-to-day with a hip contusion. Gafford had 18 points in the last meeting but fouled out. Washington doesn’t really have the depth at center to keep up with Embiid and slow him down. If he can score 50 points on the road, then a home game is easy money.

There aren’t any expectations for a win from this team but effort is always a plus.
