Pregame Notes

The Washington Wizards face the Milwaukee Bucks but on the road this time. The previous meeting, Milwaukee beat the Wizards 142-129 after Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 42 points and 13 rebounds and was two assists away from a triple-double. He made 20 shots on 23 attempts. Milwaukee also had all their starters in double figures along with Bobby Portis off the bench.

Washington kept up with the Bucks especially in the third quarter with Bilal Coulibaly and Tyus Jones going on a scoring frenzy but then coaching became the Wizards kryptonite and putting in a different group destroyed momentum and caused the Bucks to take and maintain a commanding lead for the win.

With only two wins, it’s evident that Washington is leaning heavily, if not, already there on the NBA Draft in 2024 and hopefully the departure of Wes Unseld Jr. It’s definitely giving a tank season let alone a frustrating one.
