The Wizards are definitely in a funk, but they have an opportunity to break out of it, playing against the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets are coming off an impressive overtime win against the Boston Celtics, but so far this season they have not played well.

The Wizards, at this point, just need to find some momentum to get going this season, after being losers of six straight games. Only the Detroit Pistons has a worse record. Whether it’s getting better play from Jordan Poole or the continued maturation of rookie 1st round pick, Bilal Coulibaly, the Wizards need something to get them going.

One of the keys to tonight’s game is if the Wizards can hold Charlotte from breaking out on the 3 point line. Charlotte ranks as one of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the league. If that holds true, that should keep the Wizards in the game, but if not, well it may be a long night.

Let’s see what the home team can do. Please feel free to join us in the comment section below!
