What to watch for

The Wizards have not won a game since November 8. They’ve gone 0-6 since then with an average margin of defeat of -11.0 points per contest.

Thankfully, their next opponent just so happens to be the very team that they beat on that fateful November night — the Hornets.

The 4-9 Hornets have mostly been on a similar trajectory as the Wizards of late. They were just in the midst of a 4-game losing streak wherein they lost by an average margin of -18.3 points per contest.

However, Charlotte managed to upset the Boston Celtics 121-118 in overtime Monday. LaMelo Ball played like an All-Star in that contest, putting up 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists against the Cs.

Expect Ball and the newly-returned Miles Bridges, who had 14 points and 15 rebounds of his own, to give the Wizards the most problems come Wednesday.
