What to watch for
The Wizards are in quite a funk. The good guys have lost 5 straight and 9 of their last 10 games. The visiting Bucks, on the other hand, appear to be hitting their stride. After going 5-4 to start the season, they’ve now won 4 straight games to thrust their squad to top 3 in the East.
There’s a clear expected winner and loser heading into this contest. But could this turn into a good old-fashioned trap game? The Bucks are just 3-3 on the road and may not be all that locked-in to face-off against the Wiz.
Regardless of the result, this game is a chance to see the budding partnership between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. They’ve encountered some growing pains to start the campaign, but are beginning to gel of late.
The Wizards will also be facing these Bucks in 2 out of the next 3 games.
