What to watch for

It’s a new season with new players and a new hope. What needs to be looked at throughout the season is the pace, adjustments, and how the bench comes into play. The team has new players especially since now Deni Avdija is the longest tenured player for Washington who was drafted in 2020.

There will be questions that many will wonder. How many Poole Parties will occur this season? Will rookie Bilal Coulibaly’s defense set the tone? Can Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole get into a scoring frenzy disrupting opponents?

The season starting off is always exciting because you just never know how teams will do and if a change is soon to come especially for the Wizards.

Going back to Coulibaly’s defense, it’ll be nice to see if Head Coach Wes Unseld Jr. gets him out early against players like Tyrese Haliburton or even Buddy Hield. He could easily be the sixth man Washington needs.
