The Washington Wizards play the Indiana Pacers tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Watch the game on NBC Sports Washington. I’m at Herndon High School to see their home games against South Lakes in Reston. Emphasis is mine because the girls and boys teams will play tonight. That’s common at a lot of high schools.
Wizards analyst Christy Winters-Scott’s son Jordan Scott plays for the South Lakes Seahawks and he is a Division I prospect. Winters-Scott was also the South Lakes girls varsity basketball coach for a long time before stepping down this season.
Because of that, I may be a bit slow to recap this game, and that’s why this thread is up very early. I’ll probably go back to my classroom to type it up before going home and my iPad will air the game in the meantime.
