The Wizards’ ratings on NBA 2K22 are below average in the league

There are only two players with a rating of above 80.

NBA 2K22 is coming out today on all major video game platforms here in the United States. After the controversy around Bradley Beal’s 89 rating, we can finally play the game for ourselves and see how far Washington will go.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that the folks at NBA 2K have much faith in Washington, when it comes to the team’s overall ratings. That’s because Spencer Dinwiddie is the only other Washington player with a rating of above an 80. His rating is just 82, according to 2KRatings.com. Ultimately, 2K Ratings had the Wizards as a Tier 3 team, or the lowest tier out of three among the league’s 30 teams.

Here are the ratings for every Wizards player, below from highest to lowest:

  1. Bradley Beal, 89
  2. Spencer Dinwiddie, 82
  3. Thomas Bryant, 79
  4. Rui Hachimura, 78
  5. Daniel Gafford, 78
  6. Montrezl Harrell, 77
  7. Kyle Kuzma, 77
  8. Davis Bertans, 76
  9. Deni Avdija, 75
  10. Raul Neto, 75
  11. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, 74
  12. Corey Kispert, 74
  13. Aaron Holiday, 73
  14. Anthony Gill, 73
  15. Isaiah Todd, 70
  16. Cassius Winston, 67

Don’t expect the Wizards to do particularly well in the video game simulations with this squad. That said, NBA 2K does update ratings regularly throughout the season, so expect some of these players’ figures to rise if the Wizards can hit the ground running.
