The Washington Wizards ran into COVID-19 protocols that resulted in their first scheduled Summer League game (originally scheduled for Sunday against the Pacers) being postponed due to the lack of enough players.

It remains highly likely that their second scheduled game will also be postponed. And it's possible that the Wizards may not be able to play in the Summer League at all.

At any rate, here is the game info, since we’re assuming the Wizards will be able to play tomorrow until otherwise.

Game Info

When: Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 10 p.m. ET

Where: Cox Pavilion, Las Vegas, NV

How to watch: NBA TV

Injury Report

Wizards: Cassius Winston, Isaiah Todd and Issuf Sanon (Day-To-Day, NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols). Multiple other players are also under protocols.

Pregame notes

The Wizards should give Cassius Winston heavy minutes — As the point-guard remains their weak link, with Dinwiddie coming back from an injury and with Aaron Holiday being the other option, it definitely pays off to see if Cassius can play any role in the PG rotation going forward.

How will the Wizards fare without Deni? — Or, why is Deni Avdija not on the Summer League roster? With so many SF on the team now, it would have paid off perhaps to see him in action. But perhaps this is cautionary as he needs more time coming back from injury.
