Deni Avdija -- What's not to like?

I watched Deni Avdija more closely at the beginning of last season -- before the team's implosion and then triumphant recovery -- and at the beginning of the season, I really liked what I saw from Deni Avdija -- high basketball IQ, good movement off the ball, contesting shots, even some creativity. At times, Avdija looked among the better Wizards on the court.

Is there room for improvement in his game? Absolutely, and I also wonder how long he'll last during a full NBA 82-game season, but I sense that many fans are actually more lukewarm on Deni Avdija than I am.

How do you feel about Deni's play in year one?
