The Washington Wizards will play the Indiana Pacers tomorrow in their first NBA Summer League game. Here’s the preview:

Game Info

When and Where: Sunday, Aug. 8 at 8 p.m. ET in Las Vegas, NV

How to Watch: NBA TV

Notable Pacers Summer Leaguers: Chris Duarte, the No. 13 overall pick will be there. In addition, sophomore Cassius Stanley, third-year forward Goga Bitadze and two-way player Duante Washington, Jr. will be on the roster.

What to watch for

NBA Summer League isn’t so much about wins and losses in my opinion, though wins certainly don’t hurt. The most important thing is to see how the recent draft picks play. We want to see No. 15 overall pick Corey Kispert make an impact right away with his perimeter shooting.

That said, Cassius Winston, Isaiah Todd and Issuf Sanon, all three players whom I was looking forward to seeing, have entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols per a press release that came out soon after this piece was published. Cheick Diallo, Asante Gist and Derrick Walton Jr. have taken their places in the meantime.
