Alex Len will be signing a two-year contract with the Sacramento Kings, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Free agent Alex Len has agreed to a two-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, his agency @SIGSports tells @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Len averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in the 2020-21 season. In 57 appearances with the Wizards, he played 57 games and averaged 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds. He also started 40 of Washington’s games last season and was part of a first round playoff appearance.
It is not surprising to see Len leave the Wizards after one season. Thomas Bryant, the team’s starting center last season had an ACL tear early in the season and he was an injury replacement. If he remained, the Wizards could have a crowded center rotation that could also include Robin Lopez and Daniel Gafford.
All of that said, I’m happy to see that Len will continue his NBA elsewhere and had a good season with Washington last season. Best of luck, Alex!
